Improving biodiversity, a little land at a time

A big welcome to you! Please join our pledge to make our green spaces wild again!

If Sir David Attenborough speaks we listen, he cited an increase in biodiversity as THE key to getting the climate crisis under control.

Lets take some little steps together and make Sir David proud!

Our mission

Diversify our environment, one little step at a time.

We have set up The Little Land Project to encourage people to do a little bit of re-wilding for themselves and to get the community involved in finding green spaces to re-wild. We aim to work with contributors who wish to donate plots of land, land owners who would like to sell land and schools/urban projects where we can bring some of the wild to built up areas. If you'd like to be involved please sign up to our mailing list using the contact form on our website for access to events, volunteering opportunities or to get in touch about a plot of land you'd like to suggest we take a look at!

Our people

Lucy Reah

An advocate for the environment working in water treatment and innovation, Lucy is passionate about leaving a legacy for her daughter.

"Little Land Project will encourage little people to learn about our environment and how to care for it as they grow. I'm so excited to share this journey with my daughter and build an amazing community of supporters. The environment is so vital to all of us that it's worth investing our time and energy into its preservation and the point of our mission is that every little helps."

Geri Hey

A proud mum to four children and a vegan with a passion for education, Geri is a positive and inspiring member of the team.

"My work with children has shown me how passionate and driven they can be from an early age. We want to get communities engaging with the younger generation to help us with our goal in making little plots of land wild again. I hope there will be lots of local schools that will support and work with us and I can't wait to get started."

Natalie Robb

A mum to two girls Natalie has a strong desire to build a community business with purpose. Her background in sales and marketing allows her to assist the Little Land Project in finding ways to fund the work we do.

"I have always been passionate about finding a role where I can see great purpose and Little Land offers just that. We can help companies locally improve their environmental policies by offering sponsorship opportunities for our little nature havens. Watch this space!"

How to get involved- please join us!

As an individual or as a business you will find a place here where you can support the mission and get involved. We want to make the process as simple and as fun as possible so more people give re-wilding a go, whether that's in a tiny space at home or helping to dig up one of the larger land spaces or plant indigenous species with us. We'd love to have you with us on this journey.

The Little Land Project

We are raising funds and asking for donations and sponsorship so that we can fund the first plot of land for re-wilding through the Little Land Project. We will be engaging the local community to help us establish little nature havens. If you feel you can support with fundraising, making a donation or volunteering please get in touch.

The Little Garden Project

Everyone can do something at home to improve the diversity of wildlife and plants in their garden. We will be posting advice and tips to help you improve the wildlife visiting your home. We will also have details of products and plants that will be perfect in supporting your creativity in the garden!

The Little Patio Project

The Little Land Project is here to show people that every little counts! Sometimes the task seems too great and it stops us from ever getting involved. Especially something as big as climate change! However if you have a pot you can make a little difference- click on learn more for details.
